GAMEPLAY

SubUrban is an Active Turn-Based RPG that juxtaposes creepy and unsettling themes with far more natural, character-focused slice-of-life exchanges and antics.

Unlike traditional turn-based combat, time is constantly flowing- even as you're choosing what action to take.
Fights are frantic and sometimes outright chaotic. Think fast, but stay calm.

Throughout the main story, you will alternate between leading the more classically silent protagonist Terry and his more affable student-teacher Daisuke.
But in combat, you will be managing up to three party members at any given time- even swapping through the five available player characters mid-combat.

STORY

Weird and unsettling things are going on in the town of Gold Port, Washington!

Rare ghost sightings are no longer rare. Reports of freakish creatures prowling about at night. And what's worse, the horrifying things that once were just nightmares are coming to life.

It seems that the only lead that Middle School students, Terry and Max have is a composition notebook once owned by Terry's now-deceased big brother. But they won't be alone in uncovering the mysteries of Gold Port. Their naive student-teacher, Daisuke, will be by their side. Sometimes to scold them. Sometimes to laugh with them. And sometimes to learn with them.

With strong bonds and just a little courage, these three (and a few others) will fight back against horrors beyond reason and the things that go bump in the night.
